I Retired from the SaaS industry at Age 42 to Become a Full-Time Creator. Here’s the 3-Step System I Used to Do It.
I retired from the corporate world 25 years earlier than the average worker. Here’s what I learned…
There were 3 specific things I brought together that helped me go from a burned out intrapraneur to a thriving entrepreneur.
Unfortunately, most people fail to cross this chasm because they lack this one essential thing…
Being intentional
Here are the top four reasons most knowledge workers stay trapped working for someone else forever. They…
- Get complacent trading time for dollars
- Operate by rules created by others
- Limit sharing their knowledge
- Forget to think big
But you don’t have to stay stuck on the hamster wheel, you just need a good system.
Here’s how, step by step:
Step 1: Define your purpose
Without a North Star and compass, you’ll be lost.
Take the quiet time and ask yourself two simple questions: 1) What motivates me (the life you want) and 2) What are my priorities? (the life you need). 💎 tip: Create a set of personal operating principles that support the answers to these questions.
Step 2: Build a tribe
Once you’ve defined your purpose and operating principles, now you need two things: 1) An audience to share your expertise and a 2) support system.
Where can you go each day to share your knowledge and who can help you level up your journey? 💎 tip: Share info “to the person you were three years ago.”
Step 3: Productize yourself
Once you’ve built a loyal tribe, don’t fall into the trap of trading one hamster wheel for another. You need to turn your knowledge into a product.
This means taking what you know now that you didn’t three years ago and turning it into products and services that will help others. 💎 tip: Create a low-end offering (i.e. info product), a mid-tier offering (i.e. subscription), and a high-end offering (i.e coaching).
