Can Introverts Even Sell? I Earned Over $1M Last Year In Sales and I’m an Introvert

Let’s set the record straight.

I’m an introvert.

For years, I thought something was wrong with me.

That my social anxiety was a weakness holding me back from success.

My early days in selling required a lot of personal interaction.

It was extremely tough for me.

Then I realized there is no “right” way to sell.

While many put an intense focus on being social with clients, I learned that it’s more important to personalize my selling strategy to account for my strengths.

I created a system that allowed the positive side of my introverted nature to shine.

When you’re an introvert, you think a lot — in fact, you often overthink.

But by thinking methodically, I differentiated myself from other sellers who only built relationships.

Instead of relying on fancy dinners or box seat tickets to build a relationship, I focused more on helping them think through their problems and spot issues they had missed.

This mindset shift unlocked a whole new world for me.

I continued using this strategic thinking until I found my natural fit selling to the largest enterprises in strategic SaaS sales.

I turned being an introvert into one of my sales superpowers.

You can too!
